The mission behind Mickey’s Place is to provide our Canyon, TX community with 100% guest satisfaction. Our vision is to build lifelong relationships with our neighbors, customers, and employees, while becoming a staple in the area. We are passionate about offering a beautiful dining experience, exceptional service, and delicious cuisine to all who stop in.

It is our priority to make all of our guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and accepted in our family-friendly atmosphere. The layout of our restaurant includes a refined wood wine vault, a vibrant bar area with a separate entrance, a private dining room for reserved events, a modern pizza kitchen, 2 outdoor patio areas, and an elegant dining room. Our menus will feature a modern twist on traditional Italian cuisine, as well as non-Italian favorites, happy hour specials, brunch selections, and choices perfect for our youngest guests.

About Our Owners

Experienced & Dedicated

After serving in the U.S. Navy, Mickey Foster got a job cooking at a local Arlington, TX steak restaurant. Over the next several years, Mickey remained in the restaurant industry, working in various roles: Grill Cook, Server, Bartender, Manager, Sous Chef, Chef Manager, General Manager, and Director of Food and Beverage. In 2001, Mickey met Renae Pruett, a 6th generation Gilbert, AZ girl, while opening a restaurant in Chandler, AZ. Three years later, they got married and decided to start a family. They continue to find immense joy in raising three amazing people: Zachary, Madison, and Emalyse. Mickey Foster, and his family, have been in the restaurant business since 1994.  The Foster Family lives the restaurant life and looks forward to showing Canyon, Texas what we can do to make Mickey’s Place your new favorite spot for family dinners, date nights, happy hours, and special occasions.
